Concurrent or sequential letrozole with adjuvant breast radiotherapy: Final results of the CO-HO-RT phase II randomized trial

Long-term follow-up of the COHORT phase II trial showed that letrozole can safely be delivered concomitantly with adjuvant breast radiotherapy. Translational sub-studies which aimed at identifying patients at risk of radiation-induced subcutaneous fibrosis (RISF) confirmed that high values of radiation-induced lymphocyte apoptosis were correlated with patients without RISF whatever concomitant or sequential adjuvant hormonotherapy.
