Improving the accrual of racial and ethnic minority patients in clinical trials: Time to raise the stakes

Despite decades of attention and study, racial and ethnic minority accrual to clinical trials remains poor. Serious efforts are needed to incentivize providers to enroll patients and clinical trial sponsors to target enrollment for underrepresented groups.
