Abstract
A 13-year-old, 21-kg, female, mixed breed dog was presented with multifocal skin rashes, abdominal distension, and vomiting for several days. Radiographic images displayed the small intestine thickening. On exploratory laparotomy, a wall thickness of the jejunum and ileum about 15 cm long, with an adhesive 1-cm-diameter nodular mass was found. Histopathologically, the mass was diagnosed as lymphoma. The lymphoid cells were positive for CD 3, but were negative for CD 79α on immunohistochemical staining. Hematological profiles revealed severe hypochromia, autoagglutination, and eosinophilic left shift. A protein electrophoresis revealed monoclonal gammopathy. All of the results, an immune-mediated hemolytic anemia presenting with hypereosinophilia and intestinal T-cell lymphoma was diagnosis.
