We would like to thank Procaccio and colleagues [1] for their helpful comments on our systematic review of the literature examining whether severe toxicity affects global quality of life (QOL) in patients with metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) receiving palliative systemic treatment in randomized controlled trials (RCTs) [2].
