[Correspondence] Sentinel-lymph-node mapping in endometrial cancer

We have read with great interest the excellent prospective, multicentre, FIRES study by Emma Rossi and colleagues.1 We would like to congratulate the authors of the trial, not only for the level of patient recruitment achieved, but also for the trial design, in that it was multicentre and probably more representative of the use of this technique under real-world circumstances. Without any doubt, sentinel-lymph-node biopsy represents a considerable step forward in the management of endometrial cancer.
