"Do you ever wonder what you would do if you were given a terminal diagnosis and told you only have months to live?" asks filmmaker Sue Bourne in the opening of her BBC2 documentary. First broadcast in May, A Time To Live follows the lives of 12 people, most of them with cancer diagnoses, and aims to uncover via candid interviews what they have learned about themselves and about life through the process. Each feels compelled to make the most of the time they have remaining, some even undergoing radical transformation.
