[Cancer and Society] While We Still Have Time

Mike and Jules: While We Still Have Time opens to alternating shots of hospital scenes and music gigs. The narrator's tone and the slow motion, black and white filming gives the story a dramatic feel, which makes us think that this will be a celebrity documentary centred on Mike Peters. Lead singer of the Welsh 80s band, The Alarm, Mike was diagnosed with lymphoma 20 years ago, but the cancer spontaneously regressed. 10 years ago he was diagnosed with leukaemia, and went into remission with chemotherapy but had a relapse last year and is now receiving an experimental drug.
